I really enjoyed this essay. I’ve never been so concerned with the slightest shifts in the weather until I started keeping sheep. Trying to time spring and fall shearing as the rainy seasons come and go is an absolute art.
I completely agree, well said! I would add that these "new deities" have something in common: they share a fundamental misanthropy. They see the human specie somewhat as a virus that is destroying the environment, or essentially what theyconsider beauty in their limited point of view. And when we look at what the general public can do, given the right conditions, we are tempted to agree with them. In other words we have the same psychological patterns and allowing love instead of hate into ourselves is an endless effort. Especially when we see the tragedies going on in the world right now. But I feel this is the only way to go or at least to live a good life. Thank you!

Loving all of this, the perspective, the rhythm, the flow of thoughts and words. Thank you!
